Moving to toronto... What needs to be done to register my car in ontario

Hi I'm going to be moving to Toronto from Halifax in January. Does anybody know what needs to be done to get Ontario plates (safety inspection, emissions test)? Thanks

That only works for a year I believe and you still need to have a residence in the province you came from.

you have 60 days to transfer the car into ontario plates

u need to get your car saftied and emission tested , then pay for plates and thats it

u will also need a bill from anything (phone /cable bill) proving where u live in ontario

to prove you are now a resident, Good luck
