Cost: 2.39/liter

same car, the sytec blend is not real synthetic oil you are thinking off, its just a higher grade regular oil with a mix.
i'm not complaining i still wax hondas.lol
and my engines fine too, don't give me that crap.lol
$5.99 each DUHH!!!!!! 1ltr bottle. do the math. i don't treat my car like you may do. heck, my engine is cleaner then most peoples mouth.

i don't see where the problem is.
the way i run my engine, most cars would need new parts every month, but i do maintain my car equally as well. this oil thig you guys seem to be talking about is like i said before, crap.
My mechanic does a full flush twice a year of my engine before i add these oils. I have 2 mechanics both better than 80% mechanics out there, and one's a 24hour garage. i havent been to a mechanic on that car for 8 months for any parts replacement, and engine is still smooth as butter.hehe car has also been tracked stock, with no breakage, and added 19,000km since.

Yeah, what he said. Switching oils back and forth won't really damage the engine, but if you used a good synthetic all them time, going back and forth wouldn't be necessary. If anything, with our cold-a$$ winters, a 5w or 0w should be used.
On my old Civics, I just used the dealer for the oil and changes. $39 and I'm fairly positive they were using the recommended oil and correct filter. My old 98 ran like a top after 5 years of regular dealer oil changes.
