Mother Phucking Shops - Jpg And Exclusive

As of this moment... I have a claim free record with my insurance and I get discount cuz of that..

NOW I have a problem...

JPG Exhaust refuses to release their insurance information to me... so I can't make an insurance claim from them...

So I plan to take them to small claims court.

ALso... EXCLUSIVE CAR CARE.. (THAT MOTHERFUCKER PETER) has refused payment on the rental car and now I have the rental car charged to my VISA! All $400 of it and $60 so $460!

THAT MOTHERFUCKIN' FUCKER!

TO make matters worse.. I can't get my car fixed cuz I don't have $1417 (estimated) to get my car fixed!

I don't even have enough money to have the $460 to pay the rental car company when my VISA arrives!

WHAT THE **** WHAT THE **** WHAT THE ****!

So I get fucked by JPG.. I get fucked by EXCLUSIVE CAR CARE.. and I get FUCKED by DIscount Car Rental.

And not to mention.. my car's not even fixed yet!!!!!!!!!

I NEED HELP!

If I have to.. I will organize a meet where EVERYBODY goes to JPG and bitches on my behalf...

THIS IS ******* BULLSHIT!!

JPG CAN SUCK MY ******* NUTS
EXCLUSIVE CAN LICK THE SWEAT OFF MY ASSHAIRS

******* HELL!!!!!!!:fustrated :fustrated :fustrated :fustrated :fustrated :fustrated

time for a lawyer Kent..
forget the "rally to bitch".. you'll end up getting fucked in yer suit..

i thought your insurance was going to cover your repairs at Honda?? you have JPG's name, address etc, you shouldn't need the insurance info..
you'll be suing jpg for entire costs..everything that you have incurred/will incur..

PM insuranceman..he should be able to give you some ideas about the insurance stuff..
btw..keep everything..all copies of paper work..
start making up a list of times and stuff..
what was done when, what you were told when..
be meticulous..it makes for a good outcome..
and don't exaggerate or imbellish anything..
stay calm.......

btw, JPG just lost a lot of potential business me thinx..

btw..do you have any pics of yer car after the accident??
save them all, and send me your best one :D

imported_gatherer 20-Jun-2003 06:18 PM

well Nospleeny here's more bad news... since the damage is greater then 1000 dollars you can't take them to small claims court.... time to hire a laywer and sue them ... for the cost of fix plus laywer expenses.... however you did sign that document saying you were satisfied.... just so that they'd release your car so your pretty much screwed...welcome to the real world

Whiplash 20-Jun-2003 06:21 PM

Kent, did you not say that you wrote on the release that you were not satisfied with the work??
btw..there's another way around that which could be brought into the suit ...
you are NOT a trained body man or mechanic..the shop was told that you were going to get it checked out..
you DID get it checked out by AN AUTHORIZED HONDA BODY SHOP and were told the guy did a hack job..
this will stand up in court..

NoSpleeny 20-Jun-2003 06:25 PM

I'm so confused as what to do... THanks for the advice. I'm making a timeline now.

imported_gatherer 20-Jun-2003 07:00 PM

Nospleeny,

I believe Marty and Ginacivic have stated to make a timeline of events ... as detailed as possible ... as well as organize papers into a dateline as well..

and I also believe that all 3 of us have informed you that you should be speaking with a lawyer ... the only way for you to recover costs here and now is to speak to a lawyer...

also I'd recommend getting the authorized honda body man to take a look at the work again and have him write a letter stating what was not done properly and have it signed and dated. as well you might want to inform your lawyer so that he can call apon the guy to come into court to state what he knows about the case.

dude ya got screwed now it's time to realize that being calm and looking careful will be the only way to find the proper route to take ... first off you should be speaking with a lawyer as we really can't help you once your day in court comes.

NoSpleeny 20-Jun-2003 07:07 PM

I will be seaking a paralegal help on this issue. I have made a timeline of stuff.. besides.. if I ever have to.. I always have the forums with the stuff I said about this...

I plan to have the car repaired asap and just bill them for the costs. I need not wait for this.

Insurance has given me a 10% discount for having a claim free record.. if I make this claim.. I will not have that discount anymore.

JPG exhaust's insurance can pay me also but they REFUSE to release the information to me... which is actually illegal according to the police and my insurance company.

The Halton police have been notified about this but they said it is a civil matter now.

I am really annoyed with JPG Exhaust and do not recommend anybody go to those shitfucks.

DO NOT GO TO JPG EXHAUST. BOYCOTT! They don't take care of their customers.

labatia 20-Jun-2003 07:15 PM

call the newspapers and make it public..

imported_gatherer 20-Jun-2003 07:17 PM

dude .... I will repeat myself...

speak to a lawyer.... not me not marty not a paralegal not joeblo not the dudes playing drums in front of the north side of the eaton's center near youge street... speak to a lawyer ... while yes I do believe that Marty myself and everyone on here can give you advice it is really not what you need.. and a paralegal is basically a lawyers secretary they can't represent you. now I do believe that since the damage is above 1000 dollars you cannot go to small claims court but instead you'll have to go to big boy court.... you can't go to big boy court without a lawyer (in a civil suit) and therefore I suggest you speak to a lawyer... not a paralegal (as a matter of fact I believe that "para" is latin for partial or semi) and once your in big boy court your lawyer will get you a settlement you will be happy with . have a nice day Kent.

I worry that if I hire a lawyer.. it'll cost more than I'll actually get.

imported_gatherer 20-Jun-2003 11:15 PM

thats why you sue them for legal fees as well to cover the trouble you went through getting your cash .. it's common practice...the lawyer will tell you this

NoSpleeny 20-Jun-2003 11:36 PM

I RECOMMEND THAT NOBODY GOES TO JPG EXHAUST ANYMORE!!! THAT PLACE IS A SCAM! THEY DO NOT LOOK AFTER THEIR CUSTOMERS AFTER DAMAGING THEIR VEHICLES!

Small Claims Court has a max $$$ value of $10000. THat's all you can get from the other party.

What if I go to SCC and get $10000 from JPG... and they don't pay.. then what?

Whiplash 21-Jun-2003 12:20 AM

ahem..

LAWYER!!!!!

yer asking the wrong people the right questions Kent..

I'm just curious... you can hire a lawyer for small claims court? I heard in SCC.. you have to represent yourself and you can only get a paralegal.

The G2 Racer 21-Jun-2003 01:52 AM

Spleeny,
sorry man but I had no problems with JPG. I don't wanna get in a fight with you. I think they do a good job on exhaust work at good prices.
I say again, NEVER EVER let little ******* kids drive your car that work at a shop. Have an adult drive it or drive it yourself.

NoSpleeny 21-Jun-2003 08:28 AM

Man.. I'm not sure what to do.. I think I'll pay for the damages now and try and get the money back from them during the week.

If I don't get money back from JPG.. this incidence will run me $2000.

imported_gatherer 21-Jun-2003 08:57 AM

Kent you are allowed to hire a lawyer... and yes I found out I was wrong it's 10 grand in small claims and if they don't pay they will be found in contempt of court which is a crimial offense.....

imported_echien 21-Jun-2003 09:16 AM

both in Oakville around the Speers Rd and Dorval area...
definitely avoid both until settlement agreed upon..
and after then??? 'das up to you to decide....

Buff 'n Stuff 21-Jun-2003 08:25 PM

WOW! too much B.S.!! I think I'll buy myself a mig welder and do my own exhaust work in the future... prolly be cheaper.

Just think Kent... you could've just stuck with the stock muffler... there was nothin wrong with it!

cibs 21-Jun-2003 09:08 PM

Honestly ... i donno.... i don't see how it's all JPG's fault... i'm with anthony on this one, they fulfilled their end of the deal...
cuz here are the facts as I see them (feel free to correct me or add some in if i'm wrong)

1) JPG's driver smashed up Kent's car
2) JPG and Kent agreed to not go through insurance (which probably benefits Kent more than them)
3) JPG paid to have it fixed
4) Kent went to pick up the shop and signed off the the repairs were completed to his satisfaction...

those are four killer points, and don't forget that if you lose in court they can file a counter suit so you'll end up paying for your laywer and theirs... talk to a paralegal if you'd like but i think over all you got screwed or set back by a number of things
1) the shitty job that shop did
2) signing off on the repairs
3) not going through insurance in the first place

there's no reason JPG should pay twice IMO

and i honestly can't see how a shop would pay for a rental car for you... sometimes they give out loaner cars which are cars that they own... i donno sometimes it's good to get everything in writing before you act on it, it's better to ask permission than forgiveness in cases like this.... either way i'm with ya Kent and i hope you figure this out, but ranting and raving will never get you anywhere and people won't take you seriously. Just remember to stay calm and deal with your **** for yourself.

I didn't want to go through insurance because I believe it would benifit them more than me... reason is I don't have to go through my insurance cuz I'm not at fault...I would just go through their insurance... their premium would go up.. not mine. My insurance can stay out of this IFF they give me their insurance company.

JPG paid to have the car fixed.. but they paid a shitty shop and I think it's bullshit how much they paid. Exclusive Car Care said they paid $2400.. then JPG said they're taking $300 x 10 weeks of pay from the guy who crashed the car... that's bull ****.. cuz that's $3000... I bet they only paid $1000 or so... IMO.

I signed off on the repairs because Peter @ Exclusive Car Care said the bumper would fix itself after baking in the sun for 3 or 4 days.. and I assumed everything else was perfect.. I was unaware of the hidden damages... (bumper cracked and just painted over... Peter lying about the bumper). Also.. I am not a qualified Honda body technician. I do not know the body of a Honda as well as a certified Honda technician. I can sign off on anything and it can be proved wrong.

JPG has declined paying anymore... and that's fine. Philip said for me to go to insurance to claim.. so I said ok... and asked him for his insurance company but he declined giving me it. That is illegal BTW. You are by-law required to release your insurance company name in a civil matter like this. Also how am I to claim insurance if I don't have his insurance company name?

imported_audiophilia 21-Jun-2003 11:30 PM

Just caught this 'saga' of a thread.

Had my Civic's exhaust done at JPG. Great shop! Highly recommended...too bad one guy had an accident. Happens...

imported_JookSingKid 22-Jun-2003 09:09 AM
