More 5 Speed questions..
Okay here I go:
How do you spin your tires, you floor the gas and let out the clutch slowly?
also, whenever i'm trying to go fast.. from like 1st to 4th gear.. how much rpm do I go up to.. or do I redline it everytime?
Since I'm getting more familiar with the manual car I might as well learn how to drive it performance wise.

to do a burnout rev your car to higher rpm somewhere around 5-6k rpm and drop the clutch quickly. once you drop the clutch floor the gas.
and do you mean to shift 1st to 4th or 1st through 4th. if i feel like pushing it i will get up to 6500rpms because that is the peak power of a stock motor. after that your power curve goes down plus running in reds is not too good anyways. also if you gonna be beating the car around make sure you have full synthetic oil to make sure your motor is getting proper lubrication.

You can also rev high and let go of the clutch slowly (by not poping it) it wont be as intense but it'll still be a decent burnout without putting as much stress on the suspension and engine...but if you want a sick burnout do what Scrid3r said. And put your e brake on and keep revvving. good luck

LOL
This thread is hilarious.
Your engine will have a rev limiter. In neutral, floor it and see at what rpm the needle bounces at (the engine will rev up and then cut out repeatedly at a certain rpm).
To accelerate quickly from 1st through what ever gear: Floor it in every gear, shift quickly, and shift right when the needle is just below where the limiter is. If you wait till the engine actually hits the limiter, you're too late and you'll lose time in the 1/4 mile.
If you really what to shift fast, power shift. To do this: when you shift, try to shift just before hitting the limiter as before only when you push the clutch in to shift don't let off the gas. While the clutch is in, then engine will only just bounce off the limiter. Shift as fast as you can, if you can doing it fast enough, your engine will only hit the limiter once or not at all.
Looking at the datalogs from our race MR2, I've clocked my powershift up shifts at just under .5 seconds. hehe.
It takes a bit of practice to get good at it and it is a bit hard on the car. But its the quickest way to shift a manual.
Have fun.

I wouldn't let it go too slowly as you're just slipping the clutch and wearing it out. If you don't drop it (let go of it as quickly as possible) you should still let go of it pretty quick if you're launching the car and it's revved up, definitely not as slow as when you're just starting off normally.
yah yah thats ehat i mean...
