money <> class

I see lotsa ppl with much money and NO class. Bush is an example... that's one down south ******. Throw as much money as you want at him, deep down inside he's just a dumb country boy. you're born with class, you can't buy it. I see lotsa asian ppl driving really expensive cars, so money they have... but when you go to chinatown, you see the lack of class. And their cars are always dirty. That's lack of class. No offense to the classy asians of course

oh here is a good example of why money <> class

give a **** a $5000 LV purse... she's still a ****, and she'll still prolly blow you for a joint.

put a $10K suit on Cleetus the ******... he's still a bloody ******... he'll still prolly wipe his nose in the sleeve of his jacket.

Put both of these together in a 540 BMW... are they any classier?? NO!

That's what I always say, class comes from self displine and self virtue. No materials can neither raise or decrease your own value.

There are meals cost as much as 40,000 dollars. That doesn't mean you will turn into god or immortal after eating it; you are still gonna digest it and turn that meal into ****. All it means is you can afford the meal, that's all. That's all there is to it.

I could honestly and seriously care less of what other people use, eat or have. I treasure what I have and what I want not because someone else has it, but because I need it and can afford it.

I argee with this.

I'm 21 in the summer, been doing this since I bought my Civic at 18.

Moving on to something different but it'll still be modded.

If i was rich I wouldn't let anyone know. Id drive and mod whatever the **** i feel like. After I have a good job and a house Im still going to be modding cars.

I'm sorry but I could afford to mod and drive a Porsche that thing would have more daily driven miles on it then my old hatch (over 300k).

Like the Porsche ad says 'Every minute your Porsche sits in your garage is a minute you don't get back'.

modding cars is just a hobby and at times a lifestyle
our cars are apart of us
modding our cars is an expression of who we are, its our way of making it our own, as is how we dress, our shoes everything...

would you prefer everyone making model airplains and playing lawnbowling instead...

just imagin troronto club lawnbowlers... lol

not juvenile at all, our fathers did it, their fathers did it, its a mae thing, woman are now in it too....

and if i was rich i wouldn't have a civic, and for those saying they would, bull****... lol

What are you saying!!!..If i was rich Id still have a civic. Id dump $20,000 into the ****er and It would wreck Ferrari's. But don't get me wrong Id have some other nice cars as well. But to each is his own. Drive what you like. And mod what you like.

i'd prob still have my car as i have grown attached to civics, but if you were rich in the first place you wouldn''t even go near a civic bud...
so two senerios.
1 - if became rich - keep civic
2 - if always rich - what is a civic... lol

If I had the money, and I hope to actually do this one day, I'd get a hatch exactly like my old one and build it for pure track purposes.

For some people (me for instance) it's almost an addiction. I don't think I can own a car without changing some aspect of it.

It's true, the real world does tend to judge you by your possessions (ever heard the phrase "you are what you drive?"), but as individuals, it's up to you to determine how much that affects you.

Maybe I'm lucky, since I'm not in a field that requires me to impress clients or any b.s. like that, but I'm proud of my '03 SiR (although I'll be more proud of it with some soon-to-come mods), and I don't care what anyone thinks when they see me in it.

Actually, that's a lie. I particularly enjoy seeing the baffled looks on some faces when they look into what appears to be a ricemobile and see a 28 year old white male with a silk shirt, tie, and burberry scarf driving it. Lol!

As for modding, tuning, and the future.... I'm new to this hobby, but I really like the idea of personalizing my vehicle. And frankly, I would prefer to spend less on a new car in order to mod it up, rather than buy a superiorly performing, more expensive auto and have to leave it stock.

If I ever have to impress clients in my field I hope something with a big rumbling v8 impresses them lol.

Course in the field I'm getting into, impressing clients most likely be a concern.

modding a car is a waste of money yes indeed, modding a civic is definatly entry level and I dont' see why people will get so into mad tite jdm vtec when it's still a honda. But if that's what you like to do is modify things YOURSELF then yes it's a waste of money but your having fun. But like I see these homo 25-30 year old's on honda tech and jdm civic with like a k20 ITB swap totallly done suspension drop like 15-20000 buck's in mods etc and for what you drive a civic A-HOLE shouldn't you be driving/modding a better car than a civic at 30

um... wtf?

So, if I'm 30 and I'm driving a Civic, I'm an @$$hole, and I'm gay?

I know nothing about you, but considering your worldly views, I'd have to guess that you aren't into your 20s yet, and you don't pay for much on your own.

well dropping 20,000 bux in mods on a civic seems smart to you then..? clearly they have lot's of money yet drop 20,000 in mods on a civic yes you woudl be a ******* at that point. Yes I"m into my 20's and that is why I realise that 20,000 into a civic is retarded when your 30 years old or any age for that matter..
