Messy Civic Drivers
 

I received an email earlier today from a patron of Tim Horton's @ KC, where we hold our weekly meets. This person was "disgusted" at the huge mess that was left by the club after Wednesday night's meet.

Now we've had problems with excessive garbage at meets before. both at KC and at Commerce Gate and i thought we did a good job of rectifying the problem in the past. Neither location has very many garbage bins and what some members used to do (myself inlcuded when i used ot attend meets) was bring along garbage bags with them. towards the wee-hours we would clean up the mess left by others.

it shouldn't come to this. If the government of Ontario has deemed you repsonsible enough to drive a motorized vehicle you SHOULD be responsible enough and have the smarts to clean your crap up, especially when you are on private property. The owners of that Tim Horton's and the Muscle Mag beside it don't charge us anything to use their lot. and we've been using it for most of the last 2 years without any problems from them. let's return the favour by showing respect.

we were having problems like this last year with that Domestic Morons leaving Mcdonalds and BEER cans everywhere

i didn't know anyone had anything last wednesday
mustve been when i was screwing around with my stupid head light

ALright I know that we cannot Police the other clubs ,

But we can Police our club ... If you have garbage Please drop it in the trash and not on the ground .

If you see someone just dropping their Trash ask them to pick it up if they won't ..........

Agreed. I don't see how hard it is for people to take a walk over to the garbage bin to drop off the trash you may have. It's no further than walking from your house to your car I would imagine.

I'll bring a broom, a shovel and garbage bag next meet

I didn't stay long last meet but this next meet I'll help clean up (since I ussually stay late)

I'll help pick up the mess...

I don't like littering myself. I don't spit either.

But I sometimes fly out the cigarette butts.... I uumm... I am sorry.

I think all the smokers do that, not to worry.

PLEASE EVERYONE REMEMBER TO THROW OUT YOUR CRAP IN THE GARBAGE . IF YOU SEE SOMEONE ELSE'S JUST SITTING. DO US ALL A FAVOUR AND THROW IT OUT TOO. remember I know it is an easy mistake but please try to refrain from throwing out ALI, It's not his fault :)

It'd be pretty stupid if we got kicked out of this location for leaving garbage lying around.

I'll bring a garbage bag for those who are too lazy to walk to a garbage can.

Yeah we should bring a street sweeper and leave the parking lot CLEANER then when we got there!

But yeah there's been some real jerks around, some jackass even left an empty cup ON my car 2 weeks ago :fustrated
