Mass Air By past?
Hello
It's been centuries since I've posted anything. That's becasue I got into an accident along time ago and since then I have gotten myself a new car. Something other than Honda. But I still love this forum, I find more info here then anywhere else. Most of the people here are very knowledgeable. So, I am here today to ask if anyone knows anything about "Mass air by pass.." I think I have read somewhere in Super Streets along time back that this part of the intake can be modify to increase power. True or Commercial? Thanks |
"mass air by pass"
sounds like by-passing the mass air flow sensor |
Your not talking about a by-pass valve for the intake are you? Because that just sucks up any water that enters your intake.
|
No.
The mass airflow sensor is a device that measures the flow of air entering the throttle housing. it should be attached to your throttle body or your intake depending on your set up. |
JookSingKid: Yeah, that's what I am talking about. Any info?
|
Just don't want to take a risk, those sensors are very expensive.
