Mass Air By past?

Hello

It's been centuries since I've posted anything. That's becasue I got into an accident along time ago and since then I have gotten myself a new car. Something other than Honda. But I still love this forum, I find more info here then anywhere else. Most of the people here are very knowledgeable.

So, I am here today to ask if anyone knows anything about "Mass air by pass.." I think I have read somewhere in Super Streets along time back that this part of the intake can be modify to increase power. True or Commercial?

Thanks

"mass air by pass"

sounds like by-passing the mass air flow sensor

Your not talking about a by-pass valve for the intake are you? Because that just sucks up any water that enters your intake.

No.

The mass airflow sensor is a device that measures the flow of air entering the throttle housing.

it should be attached to your throttle body or your intake depending on your set up.

JookSingKid: Yeah, that's what I am talking about. Any info?

Just don't want to take a risk, those sensors are very expensive.
