Ls Non Vtec Motor Complete How Much?
hey guys, my buddie just got him self an ek...
and he wants to swap in an LS motor, just wandering how much will an LS MOTOR cost, for complete set up? I am the one whos gona swap it in, so with out the instalation? how much you figure? and if you know any places that sell them for a good price, let me know...

A full swap should run around $1500.

yeah I know they got torque, so do the B20Z2 motors, that's what I told him to get, but he says he wants an LS and turbo it in the future... so I am trying to help em out... do you know where he can get the complete set up? Comp, Tranny, Motor, all wires, you know what I mean?

if you know what your doing you can easily do the swap in your driveway with the right tools.
a price for a swap is always a range there is no set price for an engine do your homework and get one with all the sensors and a good compression test ...

I know my mechanic at Spectrum will do it for 800 for the motor and 500 installed. so you are looking at 1200 complete give or take 100 or so dollars just incase you are missing parts.
LS motors are easy to come by.
