Lowering
Hey. Its bin a while..
Im just about finish swapping a b16a2 into my ek. and its still sitting like a jeep.
the next step is lowering my car. I want to do this the cheapest way excpet for cutting my stock springs. im looking to go as low as i can go without problems. I have 16 inch rims with a 45 series tire. what can i do?

Why cheap out on it? You spent money on wheels and a motor swap, so now why cheap out on the suspension?
Neuspeed Race or H&R Race springs. 2.5" drop, $200 ish. But your camber will be off so you will ruin your tires and your OEM shocks wont last long. But, you will save a few bucks and not look like a Jeep.

Camber kits. For example from Skunk2.

I'll say it as well...
Don't cheap out on suspension.
You can go the route of eibach sportlines (just springs) which will give you a nice 2-2.5" drop, decent ride quality, good handling, and they are not so stiff that they will blow your factory dampers (shocks). I know this because I have em in my EM1. Been running on them for over 100k km's and the stock dampers are fine.
You will need to correct the rear camber, which can be done with some washers and a couple longer bolts.
