Unhappy lost keys

So I come back today from a nice vacation and I cannot find my car keys anymore!!!!

I had a bunch of keys...work and this valet key that i got from the dealer so that I can lock the trunk and such....

I have a spare set....BUT i have a cpl questions

can the dealership make me another valet key? do they do it based on the VIN #?
and any suggestions for an alarm? Now that there is a lost set of keys and i obviously cannot change the locks on the doors, any suggestions for an alarm?

tx

It is possible to change the locks on the doors, but it costs a lot, i priced it once on a 2002 civic, 3 key holes, i think it was like $1000
@ the dealership
Did you take your keys on vacation with you?....maybe they are just laying around the house somewhere, i always misplace my keys....friggin annoys me, now i have a set spot for them.....lol always know where they are....if your not gonna change ur locks and u have no clue where ur keys are for sure......invest in a pager alarm for sure

I couldnt find them at home
i turned the house upside down... and i know for a fact I did not take them with me

facking pissing me off....if i knew they fell down a sewer or something id be cool...but not knowing where they are pisses me off

$1000 is too expensive...id rather get an alarm for 1/2 that price...if not less

They can cut keys using your VIN number. We used to do it when i worked for mazda. You will need to have some proof the car is yours, with insurance papers or something.
