Sorry if the pics turn our gigantic. There's been some changes to the car, like 4 wheel disks, and red-clear 1.6 EL tail lights.

ADR Spider...discontinued. Same as Mugen MF8 or Rota Circuit 8. 17x7 weighs 17 lbs. The calipers are no longer red since I have new ones (2000 SiR), and those will not get painted or if they do, it will be flat black.

Sparcos are wicked if you like cornering!! There is nothing like it. But, if you need to get in and out of your car often, or if you're obease then don't do it. The lateral support comes across the door, so you have to kinda hover and get your *** over the seat, then kinda drop in. Once in, you're stuck! And you better start getting used to using your side view mirrors, cause from then on, you will reverse soley based on side view mirrors and good luck. My car isn't driven daily, so I don't care about these things. Also, if you drive the car in the winter...leave your jacket at home. It's next to impossible to strap into the harness with a winter coat on. Even a thick sweatshirt can cause discomfort.

If you decide not to go with Sparcos, then get GSR seats, leather or not. They are cheap and offer decent support. Forget about getting your seats re-done...these jobbies are often delicate show only, or they turn out lookin' like ***.

I don't have any trouble with strapping in when I have my "semi" winter coat on. Just adjust the harness accordingly.

Bah, I sit on the harness, then I gotta reach around and grab it from underneith my ****, and then adjust, adjust, tweak, adjust...It's easier like this...Nov 01, park the Civic, drive other car...April 30, bring the car out again to play. I know, often I remember to flip the sides up and over the side bolsters so I don't sit on them, but even then, getting the thick coat through the shoulder harness...too much trouble. And with the salt on the road

Remember its a civic, not a 1000 hp drag car. Racing seats might be a bit overboard

Well, I drift...not blast down a straight line. If you have ever taken an awkward off camber turn or even a high speed off ramp, you have to appreciate the need for lateral support. Once I put a roll cage in, then you can push the "overboard" button, but that won't be happening very soon. I'm gonna wait a while with the cage until I feel that the stock structure is being overpowered. But before I do that, Z10 Radius rods are in order, as well as an underbody brace from prob Cusco. For all you peeps with strut tower braces...that's a waste of money. A cage is really the only way to harness power properly and ensure a square and true structure for the suspension to do it's thing. That, or seam welding...but it's too much work for me to properly seam weld a chassis myself. I'd need a car rotisserie thingy.
