lazy?

i drove by a 2010 Insight for the very first time about a few days ago and noticed the tail end... thought something was strange about what i was seeing...

in terms of design, that's just a bit lazy imo

Car makers tend to style all their models in a similar theme or using similar shapes. It makes each car recognisable as a car from a specific make/company.

Not laziness, just marketing.

lol i have, it's just not something Honda has started doing until recently. I understand maintaining styling cues such as the wide-bar grille in Ford trucks, etc, it just looks like they started with the civic sedan, fudged the lines in illustrator to make the insight, and them fudged them in 2 different ways to create the crosstour and cr-z. just looks lazy imho. especially now that body panels are injection molded, they could design them however they want and they choose to not do much.

Wow, I think this is just dumb. Go complain to honda. Ffs all cars nowadays look like spaceships. Not hating but I mean come on. You pick the new 2010 model and say the designers are lazy? First of all I'm sure there was a lot more design put into that car than your ek. Why? Eks look simple, where as the new cars have radical curvature. Look at interior, same thing there.

In my opinion, it doesn't look all that great, but that's my preference, I like older designs. But by no means were designers lazy. In fact I would say they had too much time and creative freedom
