Who is this guy anyways?

seen his car from the sig at Woodbine and 16 but he didn't want to race
If your nice maybe you will find out.

Ken, you could teach them how to do a auto to manual conversion and drop an engine in, and use my car as the ginny pig

I think there are alot of good ideas being thrown out there...

Building a car sounds really cool, but who would own it?
Who would decide which direction to take the car?
Where would we keep it?

Having classes is a cool idea, but who is really commited and interested to follow through?

How many people do you want to have crammed around an engine bay?

I would love to learn, but I don't think its fair to overwhelm anyone.

personally i don't really care on keeping it after it's built. maybe we could just put it on auto trader after and the proceeds we could divy back up amoungst the people who paid for the class and either Ken's shop or just charity or whatever.

it's more along the lines of: paying for a class
learning the cool stuff hands on,
then finding out that you get some money back (after we sell it).
..

just ideas... but either way, i'd like to learn for free or small fee. it'd be worth it!

there's no way you'd be able to find a B20 in a junkyard across Ontario during those all you can take days

Hell B20's are fairly hard to come by period and with the price of $1100 ~ $1300 I dun think we'd have enough money to buy something like that to just mess around on, unless someone in the club wins the lottary

Hey I would be interested in helping... I think that the club builds the car and it can become some sort of mascot or something. It can go to car shows and stuff representing TCC.

Oh SNAP, you beat me to it.

I was hoping I could vollunteer my '91 Si as the specimen to be used for teaching how to do a swap. I'll buy the parts and the fee from the participants could go towards reimbursing Ken for the price of the install.
