Italian police car is Lamborghini

If you are thinking about speeding on Italian highways this year, think twice. You might find yourself being chased by a Lamborghini.

Italian police took possession on Friday of a sleek, 500 horsepower, two-seater Lamborghini Gallardo, which can hit a top speed of 185 mph.

The sports car, painted in the police's distinctive blue and white colours, comes complete with a flashing blue light on the roof and will initially patrol the Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway -- a road notorious in Italy for wild driving.

The Lamborghini will also be used to transport human organs for emergency operations.

considering the only way to take out a car is to follow it till it runs out of gas.. or to hit it off the road/box it in (which can result in excessive body damage if suspect is pyscho.) or stop sticks and other disabling methods.. This car has no real function other then to look good.

reggio Calabria is where i vacationed last summer, thats things amazing, and no impala's gonna catch some of those drivers i saw ripping those highways apart,

i agree with whoever said those cops better be F1 racers... i would probably laugh to death when i see they crash one of
those when i look into my rear mirror!

I think it was donated by lamborghini, but still really if you are being chased just act like you are going to hit it then take off.
