?????? Is Jdm The New Rice ???????
well the year is now 2005, automotive modification has turned from Peach colours, wide body kits, NOSSSSsss, Massive Rims.... into a more simpler Jap spec front lip..engine work type of way. But a problem is that nowadays everybody is sporting the JDM look, with Mugen Knockoff everything. I just dont agree with those people who spend 100 or so for a lip to say hey i'm jdm to those true modders who spend the $$ to get the good ****. I dunno i feel asif people have got bored of this rice look and now are moving into the JDM thing to ruin.... so whats next....?

what the hell is with this overwhelming need to feel like your doing something different
if you like the jdm look, do the jdm thing
you like the rice look, do that
you like the stock look keep it stock
could stock be the new rice? of course not, but its possible that everyone decides stock is what they like, and its the new thing, of course its possible, maybe everyone will have a sleeper in the future but who cares
if you wanna be different so bad, modify something that nobody has, or fork out the cash for an exotic car, even then you'll just be in some other exotic car owner group of people
if being different is such a big deal, invent your own car

You car will never be JDM as long as your car is LHD, period. I guess the proper term is some folks love to buy things that are made in Japan as oppose to made in USA.

you shouldn't define youself by what others are doing. I've been doing this for 6+ years now, and I haven't strayed from my original direction. not once have i been influenced by what others were doing. and you know what? my car looks great no matter who looks at it. just do whatever you feel looks good; ultmately that's all that matters. don't try to please others. I've been told countless times to paint my side moulding... it's still black to this day.
