yes this can be done....and it looks AMAZING. someone one this board had a pic of 5th gen hatch with the JDM ITR conversion with bronze rims, and shaved mouldings on their signature. it's a maroon colour. if you send me your email address i'll send you the pic if you haven't seen it yet.

found the thread

scroll down a bit, you'll see it.

Forget doing a cross-conversion and just go about making your hatch a JDM-ified EG. That would definitely be the best.

put a thread in the exterior section asking for places that do front end conversions.

as far as price goes...it will be a lot. you've gotta get new fenders, new bumper, possible rad support, it's all custom work...if you have the extra $$ to spend do it.

The conversion isn't THAT hard. The height of the headlights compared to the OEM's is almost the same, they are just a bit more squared off where the turning signal and longer at the point where the JDM ITR grille usually sits. The easiest way to do the conversion is to just use your OEM front end... cut the fenders a bit to the shape of the DC headlight and cut the hood & bumper. From here you could use your OEM EG bumper or go for a JDM DC Mugen bumper since it replaces the grille on the DC and will line up to your stock hood.
Oh, and I have a set of Black Housing OEM JDM DC2 ITR headlights sitting in my garage if you want.. hehe $750 obo
