not me.... i dont think the del sol was very popular in japan, mostly becuase of the car it replaced

JDM Sol was actually pretty quick from what I've heard.
Look up Team Del Sol(I think) on Yahoo.

how were they different from the north american del sols?? i didn't think they did well over there

All I know is that the JDM Sol was available in Polar Yellow (had pics on my old PC before it died), the SiR was 170HP and they had (or was it an option) for a transtop roof. The roof would come off electrically.
Pretty neat thing I think!

But also the JDM Sol was called the CRX in JDM Land anyways.

so what engines are in the candian del sol, ive heard that some came with gsr arleady in them, can anyone clarefie it

come on, there's no GSR engine in Del Sol, it only comes with either SOHC VTEC engine or DOHC VTEC engine, both 1.6L


I think DOHC motor B16B? coems with 94+ sols, correct me if I'm wrong. Not sure if it's correct.

its not b16b


b16b is a type r block destroked to 1.6 and only available in civic type r's

and del sols also came with the sohc non vtec motor as well


the dohc motor in del sols was the b16a3

I never said Sol's came with GSR engines.
Its widely known that JDM SiR's are 170HP while our Canadian engines are 160HP.
Canadian Sols had the d-something with 106HP(I think) S-model
Si-125 until '96 when they got 127HP.
VTEC Model had 160HP.
