Jack points

Where are the jack points in the front, on 92-95 models?

I know the 4 jack points on the sides, to change the tires, but isn't there any in the front or back. Today I used these little metal bars that stuck out the bottom of the front of the car to jack up, to put my axle stands under, but i dont know if they were the right place or not.

this is for a coupe of that gen, but i'm sure it's same or similar.
the front is on the left side (closer to drivers), there's this small metal platform, where there is a opening in the plastic covering.

the back for most any care is the tow hook, it's super sturdy since it's welded straight onto the chassis.

Didn't a member try a front jack point and wreck his hood a while back??

I don't recall one...

Less body damage if you use the regular ones...

i know there's a rear one on the tow hook, but other than that i don't think there's a front one..... any time i do stuff with the front i use seperate jack stands.... i'd rather spend a little extra time than put a hole in my car... :working:

How can I put the jack stands on then? If I jack it up in either of the 4 corners, I cant slide the jack stand in under the jack to support the car, so my only way is to jack it up in the front.

whats so diff between that jack and the honda?

I still dont see How i would be able to jack the car up, place the stand under, and lower it back down, the jack will be in the way.

These jacks are easier to use #1...

And the points that you put jackstands on are big enough to accomodate the jack and the stand at the same time...

Plus the easy down feature with this jack is just nice to have..

Saves you from needless cranking...

I tried with the honda jack, and these jack stands are normal size, but they cant fit under the plate with thr jack there, it was confusing me.

The honda jack takes to much room...

With the other jack you just need to catch a corner and you have enough leverage...

Once at the correct height you can just slide the jackstands in...

Will any floor jack do? I saw some no name ones at Wal Mart for $19.99 for 2 ton capacity. Should I buy the motormaster one instead or would this do?

2 tonne should be fine...

3 tonne and you got no worries...

You will see it has like a round disc on the end with notches to attach to the dimple on your cars stock jack point...

This should fix your problem...

Using ur tow hook at the back is not a good idea.
Reason being it will push the spare tire well up into the trunk.
As for the front there is a metal plate kinda thing under the bumper wher the rad support comes put it there adn jack it up.
Honda Jacks are useless cuz they take too much time and htey arent steady and stable.
