How did he get scamed? why would he pay deposit? is it a private a sale, you can check it out even if it is a private sale, right?

He left a $500 deposit for it so he would hold the car, the guy gave him legit info (which was pretty stupid on the scammers part) and he was sposed to pick it up on monday when the guy called. But he never heard from him. Apparently he was caught by the cops, dunno if he ever got his money.

What could the cops charge him with though? and with the scammer legit info why didn't he go to his house and whoop his ***

Fraud, he pulled the same scam on like 5-6 other people. He went to the cops and there were people there filing the same complaint.

HAHAHAHA........I remember that Adrain was so pissed. He actually did mention sleeping outside the guys house to kick some *** but I dont know if he ever did.
