Infamous 1/4 pannel rust help

Ok guys, i got the imfamous Honda EG 1/4 pannel rust really bad on my civic. For thouse of you who have already fixed yours, how did you go about doing that or what shop around TO did you bring yours to and what were u charged. Its not just rust bubbles for mine, looks like a shark took a chunk out of it. Any help would be greatful. Or maybe DIY for how to fix it, thanks.

purchase two wheel arches, and they'll cut out the two quarters where theres rust and weld the new ones in, reshape, prep, and paint. Thats the best way!

1 side rear is pretty bad, the otherside is bubbling and gonna break out bad. ****, all this happend in 1 winter, before winter, they were fine, just bubbles. the bottem of the wheel arch in the back is rusting out also, right where the rocker pannels are. the doors are rusting, but im going to be going to a junk yard and pick up 2 new used ones. The actual car has 240 k on it, but the engine is a new ****ty used from insurance when my other D15 got hydro locked. Im currently looking for a cheep b16 or cheep b18 complete engine to throw in there but no good deals have come my way yet. Right now its not moving and im not working right now till monday so i have time and i want to work on it to make it look better. Where can i find these wheel archs. and how much.

quarter panels usually run about 200 for both sides, its pretty basic if you know how to weld. otherwise, if you get someone else to do it, its going to cost you $$$. basically you use the new panel as a template, trace it and cut 2 inches away from where the lines are so that the new panels have something to hold onto. grind off the paint on where the trace lines are and on the new panel, tack weld, then finish off welding afterwards. after, grind off the weld beads, put some spot putty and level it and your done. sorry for the crappy writeup, if you need me to explain it better, just pm me.

Yeah, and never go to Maaco.....geez, their crap! theres a reason their cheap, you get what you pay for, and that basically equals crap, paint will start flaking off after a month!
On the other hand i work for a dealer bodyshop (Toyota, Lexus) and it'll probz cost you an arm and a leg from us..well throw in your head too for the hell of it!
Not a cheap job, for a great job!
