Indash DVD

Is it illegal to drive with an indash dvd touch screen just playing music with a track list? I know you cant drive and watch movies, but was just wondering about the music option.

i have my screen out all the time when im listening to music and i have never been hassled by the cops for it. i think its only illegal if you have a moving picture other than navigation.

I think you just have to have the safty E-brake thing hooked up, so that movies cant play unless your E-brake is on.

Music is fine... just don't be stupid and watch the road when you drive - some people have an override switch for the e-brake one, and if you're worried just switch it off when cops pull up near you...

every in dash dvd screen has a by pass to it whether or not you need to ground out the parking break wire or put it through a switch like i did. but its not illegal to listen to music while you drive but is if you are watching a movie or anything that has motion on the screen

it costs $110.00 everytime you get caught watching a movie or T.V. unless you get charged with two moving violations at the same time ie speeding then it goes to careless driving or even dangerous driving. Trust me!!!! I know it well!
