importing a car from Germany
anybody hear of people importing cars (hondas) from germany or other countries besides england or japan.
I would be interested in hearing if people have managed to import cars like the 90-91 Civic/CRX SiR (I am fairly certain that most of europe was able to purchase that car, unlike here), because I would think that would be better for here. You get the SiR (nice seats, engine, suspension, brakes, cool interior, etc) but everything is in metric, and its not RHD so you can make left hand turns...
anybody know if any places that will import for you? all I seem to find is Japanese ones...

it aint worth it to export a car that old. My dad exports cars to czech republic thats near germany, it costs $1500 per vehicle to ship from here to there. I dont thnk its worth shipping a 90-91 civic, unless someone has done a bulk order or something and alrready has it here

yup it can be done and people do it all the time.
however all the rules that apply to imported cars from japan apply.
so all you have to do is follow the same procedures and you can import whatever you want.
as for kumanan its different when your exporting a car to another country. importing a car into this country works completely differently. so it is worth it if the individual wants a specific car.

they were sold there.
but there was only a very limited amount something like a thousand or less or something along those lines.
there was a guy who posted on another forum and he lives in holland or something and he said there are only 2 or 3 of them in total in the city or province he lives in.
