That was Billy. He was like the Terreto of the Toronto street racing scene. He dissappeared after that was aired. People all over Toronto were looking to put his *** in the ground. Saw his car for sale like 6 months later and it was messed up a bit.

He got a lot of people in deep **** when he sold out like that.

It was an '88 or '89 Celica All-Trac. It was made to look like rally car styles. *** ugly but was realy fast. He also had a Mazda 323 Turbo sedan with 2 tanks of nos and cranked boost. I remember the night he blew the tranny on that car. Funny *** hell. Car was so ugly and pure sleeper but killed everyone who challenged it. He also had a pearl white Audi coupe that he'd drive with nod hood on haha.

The video was a special for CTV. To my knowledge there is no dvd or any copies that can be purchased. Call up CTV though and ask about getting a transcript. They might sell you one.

The best video ever made of the Toronto scene was the A&E documentary called Need For Speed...back in the days when Mike P was the king of the streets before he went legal.

My auto teacher has that video! I can probably ask him to borrow it and copy it.

Yea...it was really good. Too bad Mike P doesn't race anymore. I know he still has a crazy car but he won't tell anyone what's under the hood. As far as I'm concerned he's the reason there's so many hybrid civics running around Toronto.

Mike Palijan...he was king of the street racing scene way back when Texas Pit was the place to be and it was "underground" still. He's also one of the pioneers for the whole "I'm dropping a motor in my civic" scene. He went on to race legally at the track and was the first Canadian import to break the 10 second barrier. He also held the Canadian record obviously. Then along came Sergio Lisboa and broke Mike's record and I don't think Mike ever raced since. According to one of my friends that knows him good...it was his father's dying wish for him to stop racing. Not sure if that's the case or not.
