I'm so excited!!!

Just wanted to share my excitement with you guys about getting my Koni Yellows and my lowering springs. If all goes as planned my baby should be dropped in a couple of weeks. It feels great cuz I haven't been able to do anything to my car since I got it because I had to move so that it wouldn't get stolen again.
So for those that are part of the GB can I get a BLING, BLING!

I feel ya man. Since I've had my car I haven't done a thing either. Since I started seeing all these pretty civics in the club I've painted my interior, changed my gauges, and I hope to get in on this Koni Yellow GB. Then it's springs and rims and I'm broke again

I'm debating whether to install them with a buddy of mine just cuz I love that satisfaction of saying that I did it myself but since I'm anxios I'll prolly pay someone to do it.

Normally I would be in favour of doing work yourself, but in this case, HEELLLLL NOO!!!

'93 Civic = rusted, seized bolts = lots of headaches...

Ask Rick at RT MotorSport what he went through when doing my suspension. Dude must've cursed in 3 or 4 different languages during the whole thing. And he is a professional with all the right tools.

I'll all for DIY, but in this case, don't you need a spring compressor to unload the springs? you wouldn't want to take your wedding pictures with a shock sticking out of your forehead, would ya? hahahah
I heard somebody does it with a card board box and lots of rags inside to catch the shock when it flies out.

Spring compressors aren't needed. You can shoot the spring against a brick wall.

I would leave springs and **** like that to a pro you can get seriously hurt if you don't have the right tools for the job. Come on guy DIY is cool but not if you don't hae the right stuff to do the job.

Be safe guys.

yeah, if can tire can loan you a spring compressor for free I'd go with that. but I'd still like to see jugz' death defying stunt of catching the springs with his teeth as they get shot out. ahhaha
I've no problem using my car as a lab rat, jugz. I just don't have the cash to get new springs yet. anyone want to donate a set of pro-kit for the sake of scientific experiment?

i like 99chb's idea.. if you want an older ride, my 93 coupe could be used to try the rusted out effect!
