i wasnt angry i just said how come he didnt stop me ther and followed me like 250 m and then stopped me and he asked me for papers while i was talking so he got pissed and hes liek ur refusing to surrender papers i told him liek 3 times take it he just kept on walking away

You are innocent until proven guilty. So like I said, you file for a court date, and worst case is you are convicted (found guilty). Then the ticket goes on your record. But this one would stay on your record for 3 (or is it 2, can't remember right now) years from date of the offence (when you go the ticket last week). So worst case your guilty but depending on timing you can minimize the effect on your insurance.
