yeah man, same thing happened to be few yrs back.
I have to hammer the support on the fender in order to put the bumper back without a huge gap. Now I still have a slightly bigger gap than other civics b'coz of that.
I tried touch up paint, it looked like ****. Then I went ahead wet sand the whole bumper off and repaint the whole thing by myself.
