If I want to become a member

PLEASE BE ADVISED:

Unless you have been told otherwise by electronblue, Cantonagod, Whiplash, or Double_B the only persons who can accept membership funds (new and renewing) are the following persons:

electronblue
Cantonagod
Whiplash
Double_B
The Prophet
TuttiGirl
Notorious
Buddah
BOND007

And ofcourse you can still pay at Parkway and OptionJDM.

If you are new, please remember to fill in the online application before remitting your membership fees.

and to add this has nothing to do with the lack of trust in the other mods etc.. but with the location they live at, the amount of times they meet with the admins, and the ease of contact.

right?

yes exactly

plus the more people handling money, the more difficult it is to keep track of

You are right, if I didn't trust them they wouldn't be mods. I chose to allow people who I know where they live to collect so I know where to hunt them down

Have you considered setting up a Paypal account to collect funds online via credit card or Paypal account? There is no set-up fee, and setting up a Paypal button is easy enough.

On a $30 membership, their fee would be 0.55 plus 2.9% of sale, or about $1.42 per membership .

Members can pay either by cash in hand, post mail or e-mail transfer. Most members for some reason rather pay cash at meets.

e-mail money transfer imo is the best way.

We have considered it, but there are many disadvatages to paypal as well for a vendor. If we were selling goods here I'd definately do it. Our rate of membership at this point doesn't warrant it.

Who would we send the e-mail money transfer too? I filled out the form a couple of weeks ago and just trying too find a way too pay the membership fee.
