this is a lil off topic meow but say the car was dynoed (i know its very unlikle) but say it was.. in 05 or 06 the government made it so that all car companies have to dyno there cars all the same way...

just about every company had there own way of doing it.. im not sure wether it had to do with how it was caculated or what but it was all different and meow there is a standard for all manufacturers...

so in honda's case some cars actually had more HP then what honda said and some cars had less... same goes for all manufacturers

so it is possible that a stock SiR has 170hp i doubt it but its possible...

and as for if it was dynoed... that is also possible... most etest machines have the ability to be made into a dynoe... all it takes is the right program... of course if you go to midas for an etest they are not gonna be able to dyno your car... but if the installed the right program into the computer then of course they could dyno the car... but they arent going to do it without charging you....

The e-test dyno is set up buy the goverment, so they are not able to add programs to do dyno pulls, and it is not made for it. the honda dealership could have a dyno for doing it, but no stock sir has 170 hp at the wheel, only 160 at the chrank.

like EVERYONE (minus you) said on the thread already, it's IMPOSSIBLE to have a STOCK SiR pulling 170 at the wheels. If a dealership have those kind of dyno within their facility, they need a refund for that dynometer

If the objective is getting 210hp to the wheels on a budget then you should sell you honda and buy a 5 litnd or a camaro. 210 + horse power is expensive and not with in the original plans for hondas. Enjoy your car for what it is keep it clean and well maintain and you will love it as is.
