i need some modding tips

K check it out...
Spring is coming, and i bought an SIR in the fall so i didnt get a chance to modd it up. I would like to keep it as factory as possible, but a lil more HP wouldnt hurt. its currently 170 on the dyno (stock) wouldnt mind if it can go at lease 210 by the end of summer. Got any tips? the cheaper the better

No, but that engine if I am not mistaken is rated at 160 by Honda stock. So I would think that it would pull less than that on the dyno.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong here.

You are right, it's 160 in the SiR's. The dohc B16 that cames in the del sol where 170 hp at the crank, so stuff has bin done to that engine if it dynoed 170 at the whells.

For a full exhaust, it all comes down to what company you get, or you can get a hi-flow cat a,d cat back done at a exhaust shop.

Headers will cost you at least 350
Catback exhaust at least 650
That alone would eat up most of your budget, not sure if you are doing it yourself, but add on labour to get it installed.

Look at opton JDM to see how much they are selling their cams to give you an idea how much they are.
