i need a beater for winter

i need a car that has nothing wrong with it or at least no serious problems for 500 bucks or so. something for the winter so i can park up the ej and give it a brake and work on it for next summer any ideas?

my brother just picked up a 94 caravan with nothing wrong wit it no rust perfect running condition emisisons safety for $300

yeah 900 is an ok price but styll outta my range id trather spend that extra monmey on the civic i juss need anything ill just put a sound system in it and im fine...like his malibu how much u throwing it up for?

my Dad got his old truck for $500, spent $200 bucks on it and it ran for 4 years.

88-91 accords, sentras or an old corolla are pretty cheap.. I bought a tercel for 160 once it didn t have heat though...

auto tranny. nothing wrong mechanically. 379 something thousand kms.
Body has usual rust.

why not use your own car for winter...unless you are driving a top end car, not worth it dont you think

Sentra's are cheap like 88-92...thats what i have for my beater. The body is in the worst condition but the motor has only 129,000km. As long as the motor is fine and suspension, thats all that counts for me.

Unless your slammed like my EJ1 you shouldn't have a problem running it in the winter, if you let the car sit for 6 months or so and don't properly set it up for winter layaway it could cause more damage to the car then driving it in the winter.

im a plow...its slammed i tried it last winter and now i have a stage 1 clutch and light weight flywheel

how would u properly set it up for winter storage...if its to the motor its ok because im planning on rebuilding it so but how would u prepare it
