honda recommended changing OIL every 12,000KM!

So if your changing your oil AND FILTER every 3K on your D15's and D16s, your wasting your money!

yah honestly...haha that'z gotta be a joke...haha

Some company did a study saying that you don't need to change your oil until 10-12k km.

Personally I'll keep changing mine at 5k.

Guys, take a look at your STOCK Intake filter housing under the hood..

It says right on it! Change oil every 12,000KM!!!!

Now I definitely don't condone changing oil every 12K, but oil filter, yeah every second oil change is good enough, IF you don't drive hard all the time.

Don't waste your money on synthetic this that crap when your driving around D15s and D16s.. Especially you high mileage guys burning oil.. That's just throwing money away. If your burning a lot of oil, in the summer use 20W50 oil. In the winter use 10W30. Try to keep your rpms lower, especially highway driving..

My GF's D15B7 CX, which she bought around 100K is now over 220K. Oil changes are done like every 10-12K and it runs perfect. Check your oil regularly, if most of it's still there and it's not Charcoal black then leave it! Ticking valves? I've never heard valves make more noise when the oil gets old.. unless your burning and running on low oil. Otherwise time for a valve job then..
