Wow, if you remove all that I'm not sure how you can drive the car any more.

I have 95% of that removed in my car.
I'm going to keep the carpet though.
And possibly put my rear panels in for daily driving.

no its not illegal, you only need seats and or working seat belts for the amount of passengers in the car.

i had no interior and drove for ever no problems at all. even was pulled over by OPP i had the fart can on (with an exhaust leak X2 loud!) , no interior and a trip permit. he just wanted to see that i had valid insurance thats it.

I took the door panels off my mom's car to fix the window regulators and when she got pulled over "for a random spot check" they almost impounded her car.
You can't have any exposed wires apparently...

removeing the rebar is pretty dumb too if you plan on driving on the street. If you get rear ended without the rebar, its pretty much a write off and a total insurance loss.... The insurance would probably laugh at your claim lol.

what jay refers to is more like a drag car already... on that list of stuff to be remove, 10 of those stuff already violates the safety of driving on the road, so its probably for drag purpose

personally removing anything from a civic is stupid.
the car is as light as it gets in the first place.

gutting an accord or a mustang makes sense cuz they are heavy but a civic is just retarded.

agreed, your going to have to remove quite a bit to make any kind of noticable difference, and if its a street car it will come at a sacrifice of comfort...

haha agree
you would probably wanna built more torque and hp over reducing the weight of a civic... the lightest you can go is probably 1900lbs... the engine and windows weighs the most unless you plan to remove all windows, consider you won't be removing your engine hahahahaha

add on top of the list

just the driver seat
steering wheel
speedometer gauge and rpm gauge
shiftknob

no console or anything

and plus i heard the biggest weight reduction thing would be the piece of **** underneath your carpet that keeps the road noise from getting in your car... i heard the ITR doesn't have it so its lighter... that piece of **** weighs like 100lbs?

follow up on this

Sound deadening weights 7 to 8 lbs. That's it.
