i almost bought a 99 VR6 Golf before my SIR but the stoopid delaership never got back to me... oh well cant complain when u buy an SIR from a 55 year old man

i bought a blue 2005 jetta GLI like the one in the pics you took..
but im definitely getting another car this winter... its gonna be this mk3 cabby.. WOOOOO!... VR6 BABY!!!!!....


this red gti is one of the scariest cars you should watch out for...
over 300whp yet it looks like a SLEEPER.... everything was hidden including the fmic

honda modders are practical...vw modders are looks...with all them wiring problems tucking wires wouldnt be my first move lol

they day I see honda engine bays looking like that will make me happy...long weekend project perhaps!?

Cynikal, there are lotsa guys on Honda-Tech with wire tucks. It's only Canada where wire tucks are something special.

As for VW modders being for looks, maybe in the US. In Germany and the UK VWs have the dirtiest engine bays I've ever seen, even magazine cars.

veedubs are completely different from civics.. euros are meant to be clean.. civics are made to mod the **** out of... change the colour of the wirings in your engine bay and it'll get props... figure out a way to hide something in your euro and you'll get props.. LOL

VW's are nice machines. We've got a crazy guy here who drives a boosted Scirroco. He's damn fast on the circuit.

I really like the low end torque on VW's... even on base model Golfs. I can only imagine what those show cars feel like.

get your facts right about 2002-2005 models...

but it certainly wont last as long as a honda engine but so much more fun to mod then one...
