There was ALOT of details in that post he made. No one I know can recall ALOT of little dtails like that unless it happens to themselves.

As for the cop.....if he got your plate, you're probably fuqked. IF he wants to, he can still issue tickets for dangerous driving.....fail to stop.....fleeing the scene. ALL very bad tickets. I hope you have all your lucky charms with you, because you are going to need them.

a cop, even if driving his own car... makes for an unbeatable witness. My guy had my description down pat.... from glasses, color hair, goatee.... EVERYTHING!

#1 if he was off duty he can't do **** except tell his *** opp buddies about you and you might get picked on because opp aren't cops, they're the worlds largest organized gang

#2 you're only supposed to get a summons to court from a cop if your doing double the speed limit or anything VERY stupid like wreckless driving in a school zone...160 should just be a speeding ticket and i believe 5 points

#3 ive gone through speed traps where all the cops were already writing tickets except for the one doing the radaring (if thats a word) and he yelled at me when i flew by and i just looked at him and kept going...nothing happened to me so i wouldnt worry too much

you may THINK they can't do ****... but as I've experienced, and my lawyer explained... they CAN do ****. I'd recommend calling your plates in as stolen and getting a new set. That way they can't really prove it was you cuz there are 1000 other Civics like yours, any one of them could have been wearing your plates.

bbarbulo is right. Even if they are off duty, they STILL can give you a ticket.

60 over is considered a ciminal offence and is a automatic court summons. You'll face lic suspension. Meaning you could lose all your points (9 Think it is) and face a criminal conviction (ie you have a criminal record - good luck when applying for a job)

LOL but you could always get legal mods to make the car more agh, cop like.

Get a few antennas, a CB radio box to fit on the dash (you'll have the two side spotlights). The flashing lights and strobs are illegal.

Oh you could also get yourself a crewcut, and insist your frinds ride in back.

I think it's 60 and over or twice the speed limit, whichever is lower.

IE 80 in a 40 zone (under 60 over but still a criminal offence)

Yeah but ther drivers can't see that from outside the car and if you get pulled over it shows intent to make the car look police like.

The antennas aren't illegal if they are actually funtional.

no criminal charge I don't think... cuz I've faced that before, no one said anything about being a criminal or maybe they neglected to tell me.

I've done some stupid **** in the past... but then I learned whenever I was doing something stupid, I got busted... like if I rolled through a stop, there would be a cop there. Just my luck.

6 Points
Careless Driving
Racing
Exceeding the speed limit by 50 km/h or more
Failing to stop for a school bus

speeding is never a criminal offence unless you kill someone as far as i know and the only criminal offence that doesn't involve killing somoene (but potentially could) is leaving the scene of an accident and failing to stop for a police officer.
