how much is my car worth?

I'm thinking of getting rid of my civic, how much is it worth realistically?

1999 civic DX coupe
black
135km
black
tint
alarm w/keyless entry
pioneer mp3 deck w/pioneer speakers all around

useless "performance" upgrades include loud muffler, AEM cold air intake, OEM SIR lip, SI rear spoiler, all stock otherwise

i am very particular about cleanliness, so the car is spotless inside and out

comes certified and e-tested

realistically, yes but dealers will charge around 7500-8000 and private sales will fluxuate between 5000-7000

depending on condition...

could get up to $7000 if it's 5spd...more than likely less if its automatic (mostly because a good chunk of the "civic" market is people who want manual)

prices are allover the place in the used car market.. i guess you just have to wait for the right buyer.

it was sold on trader or on a forum? ( you don't have to specify anything beyond the question for confidentiality i guess)

coz i've been trying to sell my car before, and it didn't work out, i was ghetto enough to avoid autotrader to cheap out on 40$, and the result was, i sold my car for a damn cheap price compare to yours... my car has a similar annual mileage to yours, and it had a gsr swap too, stock in terms of everything else, well maintained... it went for less than 5.5k =(

i say you're lucky for 7k as there are tons of lowballers around

it was in the trader, the car is fully stock mechanically, it only has tinted windows, lip and si spoiler, and is spotless inside

the buyer said he has been looking for a car for 2 weeks, and coudlnt believe how some people treat their cars. he said he didnt mind paying a little bit of a premium to feel good about getting something that he felt was taken care of, instead of saving a grand or two and driving someone else's garbage.

i guess trader is really worth the investment

coz i posted my car 8000 cert/etest at first and the car is flawless, no rust at all, all the rockers were mint... interior has no salt stain... the engine was just swapped and driven 3000-4000km.

then i needed a quick sale, so i just jump right down to 6 grand... so i guess i made a big lost... the shell was flawless for its age if you check the 1/4s hahaha.....

again, i guess swapped motor gives the wrong image...
and maybe i should've tried trader...
