How much and how long do you figure

I have had it with toying around with my car in my garage and now want it fixed. So i am going to have it towed to CT. How much do u think it would cost to have all my fuel lines connected and hwo long do you think it would take? Why im asking is bc i need my car for thursday for my trip up to blue mountain. All the parts are there. So pretty much i will be paying strictly for labour.

probabaly 3 or 400 would recomend somewhere better than CT though. but they are probably the cheapest, and have less work than others lol

I know i went to a shop the other day and they were going to charge 280. Im hoping i could get it done cheaper. Im also lookin at getting it done 2morrow b/c im going to ottawa on tuesday.

Im going to call and see how much they would roughly charge, bc its killing me now and i cannot fix it and i need it fixed.

Take it to an Affiliate or try one of the boards resident mechanics.

GinoLicious 13-Mar-2006 01:03 AM

Im not sure of any of the boards mechanics. Would anyone be willing to come to my house after work 2morrow? I will pay 150-200 to get it hooked up and running.

Wait a minute, $280.00 to connect a fuel line? What part of the fuel line is this exactly? Im just curious because on EF's about 80% of the fuel line is contained inside the car. Is one of the hard lines in the engine bat snapped or the rubber line that connects to the manifold?

if you only lived closer i work for beer

kwikb16a2 18-Mar-2006 01:28 AM

run all new lines?? take the 280 cus i sure as hell wouldnt do it for that, not worth the aggrevation lol

zeeman 18-Mar-2006 11:32 AM

ya man, changing gas tanks on EF's sucks....big time. Its almost easier to cut a big hole in the floor under the back seat to acess the top....its not pretty, but i've seen it done before.
This is why people will charge $300 to change the gas tank on your car....its not fun.
