How much have you spent car audio?

Reason why I started this poll is to see if I'm crazy for the amount of coin I drooped or if other people are doing the same

there isn't even a choice for the amount I've spent. $60 for an integ CD player and $100 for a set of pioneer speakers with the rear brackets and panels to put properly, rear speakers into my hatch. unless you count the fact that to me the sound of my motor is the music I prefer to listen to. the stereo is more for passengers who might not appreciate vtec the way I do. Since I am all about the mighty D, it took I/H/E TB and IM to make my car sound as good as I think it does. If that's the case then yeah I spent a few bucks.

in the last 5 years around 500 $ ( 3 decks, used subwoofer , used amp)

Funny thing is i removed my sub and amp ( store somewhere in the garage), i highly believe the previus owner changed the speakers because they sound great

I love the sound of my d series vtec too but theres nothing like a clean and very loud sound system.
when I get more money to turbo it im sure ill want to hear her spool and whatch peoples faces as the BOV sings the song of power

still nothing like shaking other peoples cars while they wait at the redlight, watching them look around to find out where its coming from is jokes and then they roll up there windows but that wont stop the bass rocking there car lol

Exclamation Made poll anonymous.

Made the poll anonymous. Some members may be a little hesitant to broadcast the amount of money they've spent on their car audio on a public forum.

Wow, I'm completaly against throwing Dollers at audio, I think audio is pointless, but I'm about going fast, or looking sick... Some zero offsets vs a head unit and subs, wheels all the way, but don't get me wrong if your into audio go big or go home! My best friend just droped like 4G's on his audio

I got an Alpine deck, JBL 10" sub, JBL amp. I got a real nice deal because when the hack installed my deck he scratched part of dash so I got most of the stuff at cost.

All I've picked up is a nice MP3/CD/iPod deck so far from FutureShop.. it was the first thing I ever did to the car and it's still kickin' after 3 years with an old iPod Mini in the glovebox.

I'd like to eventually replace the speakers in the car to get better sound... deck volume goes to 100 and I get distortion at 40 haha
