There has been 3 people asking about if I would sell my car. anyway, I have no intention because I have put in time and money and I only need it for going from A to B. Just out of curiosity how much do you think my car is worth. It's 88 dx hatch with 140000 km on it all original km 2nd owner, my dad passed it on to me....new radiator, alternator, clutch, timing belt, water pump, gas tank, ball joints, axles, tie rod, spark plugs, battery, exhuast. Got new winter and summer tires on vx rims and 88 crx rims. little to none surface rust. Passed safety and e-test when my dad passed it on to me about 2 1/2 year ago.....anyway...just curious.

88 DX? im guessing about $1000 max if it runs nice. If it doesnt pass e-test, you gonna scrap or pull out $450 to get conditional pass so really you'll be selling the car minus $450 if it doesnt pass.

I think it worth around 2000...that's just my opinion anyway. Acutally this guy offered me 1500, but if I sell this....I don't think I can get a car for 1500 problem free and is in that low milage and hopefully will last me for 2 - 3 year at least.

it means if your car fails and you spend up to $450 on repairs you are eligible for a conditional pass (you can go and get ur sticker renewed or whatever)

really depends on the rust, if it was mint mint, I'd say 1500 to 2000, but if there is ANY rust then less. Also if it was an Si it would be worth more....

no lol. if it was an si in this condition then you could probably get 2000....yours is worth 1000 bucks, 1500 high.

Well.. Their are a few things missing out.. I don't know alot about the DX but is it Auto or 5spd?? A/C? Any extra little things or is it just a stock bargin DX.. Next is rust.. Typical honda rust?? No rust.. lots of rust.. Uhh next parts being replaced.. 140k is not alot considering my civic has 300xxx+ KM on it. Were they replaced just because it was their time?? Was the car driven hard to warrent the parts needing to be changed? Has the car been in any fendor benders??

I mean if it's mint, very little of the normal honda rust that could be fixed no prob for a few hundred bucks. Car runs like it was just off the lot. No problems with it or anything.. Clean title.. Thing could fetch 1500 eazy.. 1000 for sure. Anything less and you would be getting ripped if you ask me.

It's a 5spd, no a/c, stock dx, normal honda minor rust, things were replaced because it needed to, I drive it to and from parry sound half of it's life are highway...my dad had it the city so half is in the city....no accident....I would call it mint but not in the shape that it was just off the lot....anyway....thanks for everyone input

The only things is not stock are the vx rims and crx rims

Unless it was mint with low k's, I'd say $1000 tops.
