Less displacement but roughly the same power, stroke and rod ratio is different (87x90.7 vs. 86x86), 6 speed tranny, little things here and there.

To me, power is power regardless how you slice it. If 200bhp is what you want, then engine platform and price is just icing on the cake if you know what I mean, all boils down how much money you wish to spend.

If you argue from cost vs. hp point of view, (strickly number, nothing else), then yes, H22A is the cheaper way. I wouldn't doubt it otherwise.

when my buddy blew is TYPE S motor... he replaced it with a K20R
we'll just say that motor alone was 10G's

as for K's being played out, yes/no

its basically what you want... and how much you are willing to spend.

i think the K is a very underestimated motor...
those engines can be made very quick for cheap ( this is not including the swap )

im talking about 8 grand total for everything
not 8 grand for k and 8 grand worth of mods.

My bottom wasnt going to last with the power i was pushing on stock bottom end. i knew it was going happen and i seen the signs that it was going to happen.

I say someone goes 8 grand budget for EVERYTHING on k and b and see who wins.
