How much does it cost if you have the complete swap from a RSX Type-S

what other parts i need to swap into an EK?

Also how much SHOULD labor be

including custom headers or whatever will work

around 3-4 grand for engine and tranny than you need all the linkages and motor mounts labour should be 1500-2000, its a very expensive swap.

k20 waste of time and money.
think how much a header cost for it, or a cam gear.

a k20 swap is around $6000 at a low, using mid quality parts, for higher quality parts such as a DTR/HYTECH HEADER, K-PRO, etc.. your looking for a little more $8000-9000 but thats a really well done job, that does not include labour charges, this is just a rough estime for work done by yourself.

I know a guy whos a mechanic and he could do his own k20 swap but he still thinks its too much money and he wouldnt even really be paying for labour.

I've seen them go for $2000, including the tranny and ecu.

just don't go k20r like i did.... doesn't make sense because you'll never get the best out of it living in north america since it wants to run rich 100 octane and at north american gas pumps they only offer up to 91 and 94.. some ppl who are using 91 octane are complaining about knocking. K20z1 is the better choice... both ways k's are played out, lol i can't wait to get my s2k.
