dont know where to put this, sorry if its the wrong place.
i was wondering what would be a proper price to sell my car. its not for sale but im considering it.

Features:
1999 black civic hatchback dx
186000 km

bought car last october.

since ive owned it a few things have been changed/added:
-pioneer deck with usb and aux(Satelite radio not included)
-pioneer speakers all around
-installed stock lights(came with crappy altezzas which will be included)
-new CLA muffler with silencer
-new battery
-new antenna
-new air filter on already installed sri(looks grey on the camera but filter and pipe are blue)
-ctr front lip

problems:
-normal small dents and scratches around car
-accesory belts slip and squeel(will be replaced)
-3rd gear pops out once in a while
-runs rich due to coolant temperature sensor(will be replaced soon) fan also does not turn on due to this but i have rigged a switch for fan under my dash.
-strictly not meant for racing, clutch is just too weak to catch on fast(great for traffic though, pedal takes no effort at all)
-no a/c(doesnt come with it)

everything else is great. have not had any major problems.

thanks to anyone who can give me info. need to know how much it is worth and how i can raise the price. thanks.

looks nice and clean. The wires in the dash look kind of messy. Overall id say maybe 3300 - 4000.

yeaa the wires are for the satelite radio. dont know where else to put them lol. but without that theres no wires there.

2500-3000 asking price, with safety and emissions, Almost ten year old car, not that clean, high mileage, weak engine.

If you over price it, you will risk loosing someone who will have possibly bought your car.

and dont say "normal" dents and scratches...there is nothing normal about them its not a good selling feature to say its normal.

If i were looking to buy it,
I would consider it needs a new tranny (or a rebuild) and a new clutch at the least.

I wouldn't pay more than 2600 for it.
There is nothing you can do to raise the price... cars are a depriciating asset. Putting $1000 rims won't increase the value of the car by $1000.

Why would I won't pay more than 2600?

• The tranny/clutch issue won't be cheap to straighten out.
• It has no A/C

another peice of advice would be to vaccum the car and wash it next time before posting pictures. If you want the most you can get you have to make sure the thing is as spotless as you can get it. People can say they take care of there car but the first sign of neglect is the car being dirty

if i posted it for sale i obviously wouldnt leave it like that lol thats why i said it needs a cleaning in the description. this was just for opinions on how much it would be worth. and before i sell it i could get a new tranny or even an si tranny which isnt that expensive. but thanks for all your input guys. i appreciate it.

i would say around 2500 to 3500 depending on how much youy clean it.

Having not ac and a mess up gear surely brings it down,. Plus its a 99 with almost 200 km. Nowdays cars are cheap .

Although you could prob get more but it would take longer to sell it and too much of a hassle .
