Question HOW MUCH $$$ to TOW from Cambridge-Markham?

Hey, I'm buying an EG Si shell w/ from what i heard very little rust, no underbody problems, just surface rust along the rear fender from not taking the seal off..

However, it has no engine in it due to vandals...I'm getting it for an amazing price as a project car so one question lies...

HOW MUCH WILL IT BE TO TOW THE CAR FROM CAMBRIDGE, to MY PLACE, MARKHAM-SCARBORO? w/ NO CAA membership from either me or the owner..?!?!?!

please reply to this ASAP, i will be making the trip either 2moro or saturday b4 someone takes it, blind as to how much $$ towing will cost...

This might be a stupid question, but have you tried calling any towing companies? I'm sure they would know. I think they charge like 50 buck just for the hookup, and then a certain price per km, so if you know how many km approx, you could maybe find out that way.

I know theres a place here in Cambridge that told me they'd tow to Scarborough (sp?) for about $250.
PM if you're interested. Anyplace in the city is $40.

BTW theres nothing to see here in Cambridge. LOL

That is the best idea, rent a minivan for $90 a day then go to Ryder and get a car trailer.

Lets all abuse rental cars!

Sorry I was wrong, its 200KM with 2 Free Tows. (How far is Cambridge from Markham?)

For just a few cents a day more than a basic Membership, CAA Plus gives you expanded benefits:

No charge towing up to 200 km
Trip/Travel Accident Insurance up to $500,000
Additional extrication service
Enhanced locksmith services up to $100
No-charge emergency gasoline
Up to $500 trip accident assistance
Credit card insurance up to $2,500
All for just $108.09

Your still wrong.

It's 4 CALLS, not tows. I paid around $89 for my renewal, (a bit more if you are getting it for the first time). Parents paid $32 each for the basic.......I have the gold.

CAA will NOT tow a car unless it is licenced for the road. You will have to pay out of pocket....... no way to use one of the "calls" to get it towed home.

Try U-haul and get it onto a trailer and tow it over yourself. I think that'd be the best bet....
