How Much $$$ Have You Put Into Your Car??

As the post says...lets start to shed some tears over the amount of $$$ we've dumped into our pride...

ME:

- $4000 - Used 1993 Honda Civic CX
- $1300 - 17" Konig Verdicts with Rubber
- $800 - GSR Blades with Rubber
- $3000 - Paint Job (Car grinded down to bear metal, painted Electric Metallic Pearl Blue)
- $1100 - Sound System
- $275 - Exhaust
- $375 - 2 3/4" Piping
- $700 - Full Suspension
- $300 - Autometer Sport-Comp Silver Tach
- $150 - CAI
- $100 - Tint
- $75 - Used Carpet
- $30 - Clear Lenses
- $180 - Replaced Windshield Maintenance
- $400 - Full Distributor Assembly Maintenance
- $400 - Water Pump, Timing Belt and Valve Adjustments Maintenance
- $65 - Valve Cover Gasket Maintenance
- $500 - General Maintenance
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ $900 - Sold 17" Konig Verdicts with Rubber
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TOTAL = $12,850 ... I know its not as much as alot of other people but its still bringing some tears out of my eye...

Not to mention the Oil & Insurance Companies I'm making rich...

Plus this list is going to be added to alot when I start thinking of things I've forgotten...

I bought my ride for about 17 g's so I didn't have to fix anythin or mod it.

For what I did add though I'd say about a measly grand.

you know what
people always say oh cover your plate and stuff in online pics...well the way i see it, how many people do i pass a day that can get my plate?
so its really not worth it...and whats the point of purchasing and spending all this money if you can flaunt it?
its like telling a chick, ok you can get implants but u cant show any cleavage! its just not right!

well you have a point .... but hey it just makes it easier .. if I was going to steal a modified car ... I wouldn't be driving looking I'd be browsing these forums and checking them out that way ...

disclaimer: I will never steal a car this is meant as an example of what someone else might do.
