my dad told me to tow my car with rope from the exhaust shop home.. but i jus drove it back.. no insurance .. plates out of date and no lisence

Its a risk that some would take....but is it worth getting $5000 in fines? personally i dont think so. It costed me $70 to tow my car from woodbridge to oakville.

If your friend has CAA, all he has to do is be there and present the card. He pays for the service, which he probably rarely uses unless his car breaks down a lot, you might as well take advantage of it. I have it and it doesn't matter what car I am driving at the time I can use their services. I've done it before or if you want become a member. Plus, if you fill up at any Sunoco, 2% of what you spend goes to your renewal. One year I paid 11 bucks for renewal instead of the 150 (I got CAA Plus and have my wife included on the card) not to mention with the plus they will tow you up to 200 km no charge.

something to think about.......

$5000 fine would be the least of my worries.

At least with the $5g fine you'll get a tow @ police rate $$

try to borrow a " Yellow Plate " from carshop/garage if u know someone working there !!!
Once the "Yellow Plate' on the car, ur car would be covered with the insurance !!
