How do you beat a viper?

It used to be just go into a corner at high speed and you'd loose the viper. But the newer gen vipers are much better in the corners than the old ones.

You ever notice these videos of civic beating vipers and what not... Never reach over 200kph?

A good high revving honda engine and say... GSR trans, will go til about 230-240kph.
Now Vipers can easily reach 300kph no problem.
Who do you really think will win in a straight line?

thats true but like lets say you had an infinite amount of money that can only be invested in a civic lol

what setup would make the civic faster than a viper

Well first off, id never spend a stupid amount of money on a civic to beat a viper.
Cuz in the end, you are spending 20+Gs on a car that only retailed at $13Gs when Brand new.
Hell my car doesnt even have tilt steering.

well you would have to build it with 6spd. the new civics got 6spd m/t so i guess you could work on that motor. and you would deffinatly would have to change the gear ratios.

why does it need a 6 speed?
