How do i use a test light/
I bought one from canadian tire? but.. I have no clue what to do with it.. when i look at my fuses..... where does the sharp point go?

sharp point is ur testing end
the clip end with the wire is ground.
Gook the clip to a solid ground point on the car, free of paint
use the other end to probe around for voltage, it will lite up when it sees 12v

that's what i have been doing... I had the ground on the door???

the door isn't grounded very well
find one of the ground spots in the car, by the fuse box, or run a long ground to the battery terminal
