go get photo copy of title... .send it to the boarder.
call make sure title is clear...
go buy car from person.
bring car to boarder.
show US customs the title.
pay fare to get across boarder with a trailer :P
pay duty for car value (info my 91 crx blue book is only worth 2k US)
pay for it to be registered
then bring it home.... book time with canadain tire to do an inspection (they are the only ones who can do it , and it's a joke lol)
go to mto and have it changed over to canadain ownership
also you need a recall clearence letter, which is bull**** and honda WILL not give you this peice of paper because they are agaist moving their cars back and forth. thus you go on honda.com and look up recalls for your year of car and print it out. and then bring that with you as your recall clearnce letter.
and then you get it saftyed and etested and your golden.
edit - HF needs major bumper work to be brought across and has to be done by a honda dealership... (no wonder their so light :P)

You'll need "Form One" from the ministry and pay something like 180 bucks for "Form Two" which usually is mailed to you...then, a letter of recall from a dealership with a reps signature...usually, it must be brought up to CDN standards which means, DRL kits and child seat teather bolts installed. Then a RIV or Registry of Import Vehicle inspection performed from Canadian Tire will finish up the details. Then to put plates on it, insurance forms, certification papers, and emissions test papers must be used to receive plates and sticker. Hope that helps. Anymore questions, PM me.
Cheers,
Buddah.
