actually you're driving a civic... so its always best to work toward suspension first... and plus those parts, you can always part out and sell it back out if you decide not to keep your car....

shocks/springs/struts bars/sway bars/etc... upgrade to some nice pads, if you have aftermarket rims, do a 4disc conversion if you have rear drums... largers mc...

you're set to go...

if you want power now and you know you won't be keeping your ride more than 2 or 3 years...

do a jdm sohc vtec swap... or just find a z6... and do a homemade turbo boost... you can always sell your turbo kit back out... and you won't be dumping in tons of money on swapping a b-series in and out...

=)

it would be wise to get an alarm as well, preferably a pager alarm, before you get into the expensive mods

who doesn't know that? anyways...if I had the money the first thing I would do is suspension/brakes/motor

That's not always true. I park my 2 in the garage at home, and in underground parking in the office. The office parking lot has camera's. This is why I don't need an alarm. It depends on the given situation.

For me I went Exterior, Suspension and then Swap

I did Exterior first cause I didn't want to roll around in a stockish car. Besides with Exterior the stuff I bought I could easily take off and sell if need be.

Get new brake pads, but I don't see the point in upgrading the brakes for a swap.

You arent doing some crazy Diablo VT speeds down the highway so you wont have any problem stopping.
