How to avoid the bumps on the 401!!!

Everyone probably noticed all the bumps on the highway on the 401 near bayview, yonge etc specially in express.. got to give respect to my cuzin who noticed this.

- when heading west coming from east end stay in the first and second lane from the right hand side thats the best lane and never go on the extreme left ull bent ur rim or somethin may be and notice the cars in those lanes bumping up and down lol...

- when heading east coming from west end. stay in the second lane again from the right hand side...

as soon as u get closer to yonge ull see it GOOD LUCK hope it helps

next time you are in the left lane where it has that big dip just as you hit it pull you hand brake up with your thumb on the button and release work like a charm for me.

i'd just get into an accident around these bumps and sue the government for poor road maintenance... then when they say they put those bumps there on purpose your in the money

I've already bent my rim on potholes in Toronto... and I called up this Wheelfix place you guys posted online... and they said it'll cost $150 to $260 to fix the bent rim.. and they won't know how much it is exactly till the work is completely done. Well.. that's no good.

I might as well buy a new rim for that price.

I've got wheels done at wheelfix before, and I thought the prices were reasonable. You have to pay for quality work, and they have pickup/delivery, good warranty and are also very fast.

And about the holes on the 401......when will the damn construction EVER end on that friggin highway!

The 401 is cause for some war stories. But instead of carA vs carB, its "my car vs a huge hole in the 401"

how can u take a pic of a pothole on the 401?
dangerously park your car on the side pave then run to the pothole snap a pic and run back before a 18-wheeler gets near you?

I drive over that crappy road everyday (if you think express is bad, try the collectors between Bayview and Yonge)....There is no avoiding the bumps and holes, but I don't worry about my rims because I still have alot of tire to cushion them.
