Looks confused, poor paint job (engine bay not painted seems kinda hack, no offense to anyone who has it like that just my opinion). Yea I'm not liking that body kit, the interior is pretty nice tho. meh

The gaps are from a sitty body kit....probably fiberglass.

I also noticed this in the 2 pics.....

1. Notice the wires? I wonder what the rest of it looks like behind the dash.

2. He had JDM power/folding mirrors, and took them out. What a morron.

3. Looks like the carpet is cut. I guess after doing all that work, he couln't afford a $50 carpet from E-bay.

4. Missing the plastic trim peice that finishes the door. Shabby, just plain shabby, imo.

Yea its cool, but it would be cooler if he just imported one from Japan instead of frankensteining two cars together with JB Weld lol.

One more thing, but this I'm a little unsure of this one.......but , wouldn't the trunk release be on the driver's side on a JDM front clip/car?

That wouldn't make sense to have it on the passengers side. 94EG6HB, can you confirm this, I don't recall seeing it on that front EG6 JDM clip we saw the other day.

But I do like the seats.

Well, there are some things you don't know that are involved with bringing in a right hand drive into the US, and Cananda.

We had a long talk the other day with an importer of JDM clips/parts, and he told us that it's very hard to get one here without it being in peices.

I'll just leave it at that.

Really? I thought you could import them, but just not drive them on the street. Do we have free trade on automotive parts from Japan, then itd make sense to chop them up before bringing em in. I read somewhere that you can import and drive RHD here if you label the car on the rear. Well whatever, good to know this info tho.

the front half of the car would have been cut just back of the front of the door frames. so the JDM release would have stayed with the mangeled rear end of the car

being a cable release it would require getting a cable and trunk latch from the JDM car because of the pulling motion that releases the trunk lid...

the right hand drive is cool, but would first gear still be up and over to the left?

i like this part "It has not been inspected yet either."

What a mess of a car. I hope no one from this board puts a "diposit" (to quote the seller) on it.

It would be the same......when you use a jdm tranny with your swap, do you change the gears in the opposit way? Nope, they are not backwards from the way we do it.

First is up and to the left.....just like here. The pedals are also the same.

I'll vouch for PULOVR about the shifter and pedals. They are the same as here (first gear is up and to the left, the clutch is on the left and the accelerator pedal is on the right.) How would I know? I've been to Japan, I have driven in Japan. Actually I lived in Japan for almost 3 years. The last time I was there was in May. (I am so JDM that my girlfriend is even JDM....just joking but I seriously have a Japanese GF).

How long did it take to get used to driving like that, and on the opposit side of the road?

2.....3 cars? I say that because I see alot of wrecked Civic parts comming here to North America.

J/K

No really, how long did it take?

PULOVR,

It took me about 15 minutes to get used to the driving. Driving on the other side of the road in Japan isn't that difficult to get used to because there are cars everywhere so, you know the flow of traffic. It took a couple of time though to get used to the fact that there is a lot more car on the left of you and a lot less on the right. The thing that still sometimes messes me up are the turn signals....sometimes you see the wipers going....

Is that what you wanted to know?
